Once again the
Milford School Board approved the
purchase of the #1 educational
search engine called Nettrekker.com.
WWW.nettrekker.com is an
educational search engine built
especially for school districts with
kids, parents and teachers in mind.
This search engine has over 180,000
of the best online resources,
aligned with state standards and
organized for readability and grade
level. It is a search engine
designed by teachers with the sole
purpose of finding good reliable
websites for K-12 school districts.
All students in grade 1- 8 were
given a username and password. All
classes used Nettrekker to locate
websites for their classroom
teachers this past marking period,
so let your child educate you on how
to use this great educational
resource. This search engine can
help with all subjects and can be
accessed from anywhere via the
Internet. The most appealing feature
is that when your child uses
Nettrekker.com for his/her research
project or just needs for extra help
on a topic – you can be confident
that the sites should provide
appropriate material for each grade
level. Mrs. Culley will put a link
on Milford’s homepage to the search
engine. Below are the usernames and
passwords by grade, so have fun
using Nettrekker.com in the future!
